As sworn public officials, notaries public serve an important role in the prevention of fraud and protection of the parties involved by acting as an official, unbiased witness for certain documents to not only the signature of a document, but also that all parties who signed a document did so willingly and under their own free will. For 24 years, the State of Maryland has entrusted this duty to Mrs. Lee.

Be Prepared
1) Bring a valid, government issued photo ID with you when you visit.
2) Some documents may require witnesses in addition to the notarization. In most cases, the notary cannot act as a witness. Therefore, if your document requires a witness, bring one with you.
3) MOST IMPORTANTLY, DO NOT SIGN YOUR DOCUMENT ABSENT FROM THE NOTARY. Pre-signed documents WILL NOT BE NOTARIZED.
